Forest Play Programs
As play is the primary occupation for all children, it serves as the foundation for development throughout childhood. For play to support development and to be transformative, time and space are needed for children to establish deep play in which engagement is child-led.
The roles of the adults, in the childhood occupation of play, is to hold
the time and space for deep play RATHER than direct it.
